After developing various concepts for different games throughout the course, we created the side scroller “Virus Attack”. The main game mechanic is changing the gravity direction in the game’s world. Dodging obstacles, collecting points and changing platforms all work through this one-button control. After developing the game design together I developed the design of the game elements, as well as the interface and menu.
Radiated Pixel featured our game, as well as other games of this course, in this let’s play. Although some bugs occur during the run-through, you can get an idea of the game mechanics.
